Making use of Boredom

The Holiday Season is Over

Nice. After being off from work for almost a week, which by the way takes 3 vacation leaves off my VL consumables, I'm back to work. This is the 2nd working day of the new year and I find myself in the same state as I was in before the year 2006 ended...I had nothing much to do.

Not that I am not thankful. I actually am. But sometimes I have to make myself productive (or better yet force myself to be!).

I have fixed / customized this blog so I would be saved of this having to do nothing and passing the time until I leave for home. I don't actually expect anyone to read this post but then again, I wouldn't want this blog to die and wither away. I am hoping to make it in the blogging world as many already did. This is my start. And hopefully I would be able to make as much online presence as I would like.

There are some ideas in my head to put here.

1. Reflection of whatever I write in The 180 degrees blog
2. Some documentation of the dream digital audio workstation that I will be building soon
3. More online presence
4. Thoughts on visual and musical production
5. Probably an online diary which no one will read
6. Force enough people to read
7. Uhm....
   

I would like to bore you with more but I have typed enough already.

The 180 Degrees - Youth Music and Missions Group based in the Philippines - Website is now Up and Under Construction

Here are some updates for the website (http://www.the180degrees.org) that I have been developing over the past month. It's a lotta work but it needs to be done. So far the "index page" and the "about us" is done. I've also been updating our blog there.

Here are some info about 180 degrees:

The 180 Degrees is a youth music and missions group based in the Philippines. We believe that investing time and training to young people to reach their own generation will instill in their hearts the real need for workers in the mission field. We are a group of committed born again christian youth (ages 13-21) from various evangelical churches and commit ourselves to 180 degrees through a written contract on a year to year basis. We communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and the performing arts. It enables us to reach out to youth in a very effective and creative way.

SEO updates on "The 180 Degrees"

Link on the title should give you page 3 of google's search on the term "the 180 degrees". Not really that bad since before we only appear with "the180degrees". Also, we are now in yahoo! Typing "the180degrees" gives you a result of number1! yehey! hehehe.

Hopefully other more relevant titles will be on hand. I have some more plans I want to implement. I don't want to write them down because I still have some feasibility study to do for it.

zzzzzz....busy busy busy. Workload has been tiring this week. ALthough whenever I do think about it, it isn't really the workload but my lack of sleep. I've finally dumbsized the layout I want ofr 180's site from 1000+ to 3! And now I haven't really gotten back to that because of work as well. I guess for now I'll just resting.

Some concerns I have is the fact that the band consist of only 2 members so far. John Mark and Nuel. A drummer and a guitarist. We might go acoustic and 180's gotta buy a k-hon for sure. hehe.
